The Management Plan for the Circle B Bar Reserve is about to be revised. The current plan includes four days of hunting in the property. With the recent opening of the Polk's Nature Discovery Center, a center for environmental education, hunting in the property should not be allowed. The ongoing restoration of the Banana Creek marsh system, has attracted hundreds of species that now live and reproduce in the property.
To allow hunting on this site could only have negative effects on the wildlife and the environment .
